Energy Supply Chain Support

Our Latest Programme

Applications for opportunity two are now closed. Please keep up to date for opportunity three coming soon.

Introduction to our programmes

The North East Scotland energy supply chain has developed and matured over nearly five decades and effectively services the UK Continental shelf (UKCS) and international upstream oil and gas markets.

We aim to harness the capability and expertise from other industry sectors to address the energy transition challenge, determine and implement “quick wins” in this area, and complement the work of other organisations.

ETZ Ltd will lead the way by showcasing this capability using a proven facilitated programme method to bring together operators with challenges and supply chain companies with resources, expertise, and existing solutions.

We work in partnership with industry stakeholders and regulators to help ensure full transparency of intention, prevent duplication of effort, and leverage shared industry partners and support.

ETZ Ltd’s Greenhouse Gas Emissions Reduction Programme fully aligns with the intentions of the UK Government’s North Sea Transition Deal, which sets out an ambitious plan for how the UK’s oil and gas sector and the government will work together to deliver the skills, innovation and new infrastructure required to meet greenhouse gas emissions reduction targets.

  • Current Programme - Greenhouse Gas Emissions Reduction

In response to a series of published opportunities, supply chain companies are invited to propose existing products and services that can materially contribute to reducing operators’ Green House Gas Emissions and help meet UK net zero targets.

  • Past Programmes

As of 1 July 2021, ETZ Ltd inherited the decommissioning programme from Opportunity North East, and along with programme partner Scottish Enterprise now retains full responsibility for maintaining the information, programme relationships and any ongoing actions.
