SME Decommissioning Programme 2018-20

Introduction.

Opportunity North East and Scottish Enterprise jointly developed a Decommissioning Programme of activity to assist the Scottish oil and gas supply chain maximise emerging opportunities in offshore decommissioning. Over three years, the Programme identified nine decommissioning opportunities with oil and gas operators. Supply chain companies across Scotland were invited to propose innovative and creative solutions based on existing technology in response to specific opportunities in order to improve efficiency and reduce cost and safety risk in an environmentally responsible manner.

As of 1 July 2021, ETZ Ltd inherited the decommissioning programme from Opportunity North East, and along with programme partner Scottish Enterprise, now retains full responsibility for maintaining the information, programme relationships and any ongoing actions.

Below are the links to the nine opportunities that were presented as part of the decommissioning programme.
